Training and Certification

ICEEFT offers a variety of training opportunities for therapists interested in learning and developing their skills as an EFT therapist / supervisor and trainer. Further details are provided on these pages.

The Centre has also developed standards and procedures for becoming a certified EFT therapist as well as for establishing the requirements to register as an EFT supervisor and/or trainer.

Training There are a variety of training opportunities available through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. Supervision and training are provided by Certified EFT Supervisors and Trainers. For details regarding upcoming training events and how to register please see EFT Events. Certification A certified EFT therapist is one whose expertise in this model of therapy is recognized by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). The primary goals of certification are to promote excellence in the practice of EFT and EFFT and to ensure maintenance of these standards in both the supervision and training of this approach.
